Cokin P198 Sunset 2 Resin Filter

( ฟิวเตอร์สีส้มครึ่งซีก P198 ) COKIN Sunset Filters recreate the light of sunset at any hour of the day. This graduated series of filters are tinted over their entire surface, more densely so in the upper part to embellish the sky, and lighter in the lower part to harmoniously complete the sunset effect.

According to the classic rules of landscape layout, the sky occupies 3/5 of the space above the line of horizon, whether real or imaginary. In photography, this is interpreted by major differences in luminosity between the sky and the rest of the image. COKIN Graduated Filters, by reducing the difference, re-balance the luminosity between the upper and lower part of the image. They put an end to disappointment from washed-out skies and underexposed landscapes.

With a Cokin sunset filter, you don't have to wait until evening. You can simulate the colors of the setting sun at any time of day. Cokin sunset filters come in two grades, #'s 197 and 198, with 198 having a greater effect.

Some Cokin color graduated filters are color-toned in one half of the filter and have a smoothly graduated transition into a less densely toned portion. Colored and semi-toned image portions can be brought into the desired position by adjusting the filter in the holder. Most Cokin graduated filters are available in two densities 1 & 2, with #2 being darker. Cokin color graduated filters can also be combined with other Cokin filters.

This filter measures 85 x 85mm and fits the Cokin P series holder.
