Measuring the White Balance of Camera

- Disclose the color balance card and Gray card fully. Then make White Balance Filter exposed fully as seen in picture.
- Change the White balance mode of camera to custom mode.
- Let camera lens face a light source. Cover camera lens with white balance filter fully.
- Measure white balance by pressing camera shutter button.

Using the Color Balance Card

- Color balance card is used to obtain absolute color of photo based Photo scene background at that time.
- Take photo of a subject with Color balance card a side of ProDisk II.
- Adjust color profile of computer system with first photo taken with Color balance card.
- Adapt the color profile to the other photos.

Using the Gray Card

- Gray card is used to measure absolute exposure value. When a wide angle lens is used, ProDisk II's Gray card is not big enough to cover all angles. In this case, set camera's AE metering method to spot metering or center weighted metering.
- Let Gray card area of ProDisk II be paralleled with subject. Make light source shed uniform light on Gray Card.
- Let camera lens face Gray card and set cameras exposure value.
